Jane Rafter studied Art & Design and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design from De Montfort University, UK, where she honed her design and art skills and gained a deep understanding of the principles of art, design and colour theory.

With a career spanning over 20 years, Jane successfully worked in the graphic design industry before becoming a full time artist in 2007. She has undertaking a diverse range of commissioned art projects, from landscapes, to cityscapes, equestrian to florals. Her work has been shown in many commercial galleries, solo exhibitions, group events and commercial properties, with collectors owning her work in many countries including the UK, Europe, USA and Canada. She also has an active presence on social media, where she shows her current projects, work in progress, behind the scenes, painting tutorials and life as an artist.
